Clothes for a Cause program at DarkLight Ministries

At DarkLight Ministries, we understand the importance of providing basic necessities to those in need in our community. Thanks to the generous donations of our Luminary Donors, we are able to offer the Clothes for a Cause program, where a subset of our garment collection is made available to individuals in impoverished areas.

Our team of volunteers will take a selection of clothes in a van and drive to known areas of impoverishment. We will offer these clothes to the needy, giving them the opportunity to "shop" for clothes that fit them and meet their needs. Our goal is to provide clothing to those who may not be able to afford it and to empower individuals with the ability to choose clothes that fit them and meet their needs.

We understand that this program is not a sustainable solution to poverty and it's not addressing the root cause of poverty. However, we believe that providing basic necessities like clothes can help alleviate some of the immediate struggles that individuals may face.
